This is a leadership position that will require significant experience with large scale, high-rise, commercial, residential and hospitality projects in China. Extensive knowledge of the planning and design of such projects, as well as the design and construction of international caliber, custom exterior walls and high-quality public interior space finishes is also a requirement. Additionally, experience with Chinese construction practices and local code requirements is a plus. This position requires previous professional experience with BIM technologies – i.e. Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks, etc. – and their application to the design, construction and fabrication phases of large, global and complex projects. The candidate should have between 2-5 years of architectural professional experience with strong project documentation skills. KPF is seeking to recruit a well-rounded Design Architect to work in its central London office. The successful applicant may have a range of responsibilities from specific design aspects of a project to an entire project in early stages, including developing designs, computational modelling, preparation of architectural drawings and working closely with senior designers and other building professionals. They will liaise with other building professionals such as Surveyors, Engineers and building contractors under the guidance and leadership of the practice’s senior architects. Responsible for the integrity of the scheduling tool and schedule data. Maintaining the schedule, review project performance, identify changes, variations in scope and trends that may affect Project Schedule and outcomes.
