The position, while primarily based in KPF’s NY office, will involve BIM collaboration among multiple global KPF offices as well as direct working communication with multiple, globally disperse consultant teams. The client has defined an impressively ambitious BIM and data delivery program, and along with a highly visible and impactful design will be significantly prominent in the industry. The successful individual will possess the necessary BIM experience and management as required for a large and complex project, and will have relevant proficiency in the BIM authoring and coordinating software (Revit). An understanding of computational technologies in Dynamo and others would be important. A COBie deliverable in IFC, RVT and use of Navisworks are aspects of the project. The position will serve as the main point of contact for BIM on the project for both KPFs offices and the greater consultant team, and will interface directly with KPF’s global BIM Practice and Digital Practice Teams.
KPF is seeking a VR/AR BIM Specialist in the New York office to assist and support the integration of VR/AR and BIM related technologies with KPF’s design and business processes. This position requires previous professional experience with VR/AR and BIM related technologies and their application to large, global and complex projects. The individual should have expertise and interest in all aspects of AEC design technologies, and with aspirations to be leaders in the industry. The position involves direct interaction and communication with the global Digital Practice Team and architectural teams, including training and coordination meetings as well as best practice implementation.
